Good Days

Choosing how to make each day feel right. At Kisharon Langdon, we want everyone to have a good day, and we know that looks different for each person.

Our Good Days programme is designed to empower the people we support to choose how they want to spend their days. Together with our dedicated team, they build bespoke schedules according to their needs, interests, and aspirations.

To inspire enjoyable and meaningful days, we offer the opportunity to engage in:

Leisure activities

From cycling tours and art classes to sporting events and theatre trips. Every excursion is a learning opportunity and we encourage the people we support to take ownership of their schedules: booking tickets, identifying bus routes, working out timings and keeping within budgets.

Social care programming

A comprehensive schedule of events, informal education and group activities which build independence, confidence and new skills in a relaxed and supported setting.

Education and training

Vocational qualifications, skills training and work experience placements to enable the people we support to achieve their personal and professional goals.

Employment

Paid work within Kisharon Langdon or through our relationships with many local businesses who offer a supportive working environment and recognise the contribution made by people with disabilities.

Through leisure, learning and work opportunities, Good Days ensures that every adult supported by Kisharon Langdon can thrive whilst playing an active and valued role in their community and beyond.
